Our Legacy
Nordic is a family business that continues to grow and develop thanks to a strong 2nd generation business foundation. The Cloutier’s commitment to quality is infused within their name and extended throughout the workplace, where the care for our team members is often likened to that of an extended family as well.
John Cloutier started the business over 25 years ago and primarily focused on designing and building installation for heating, ventilation and air condition systems. During the last 15 years, he has since expanded the business to include heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration services as well as installation and building management systems for commercial and industrial facilities.
Rene Cloutier, John’s eldest son and managing partner of Nordic, joined the organization at the age of 16 as a service technician. Using his business skills gained from his Bachelor of Management degree, Rene has worked in accounts receivable and project coordinating/management, which propelled him into sales. He is now a managing partner, helping oversee and coach all aspects of the business. As a second generation business leader, Rene maximizes opportunities to further propel Nordic over the long term.
